COMMUNICATION
Communication, in particular cooperative communication, in business related terms, is defined as the employees ‘skills and abilities to “get along” with other employees at the workplace.’ The basis of cooperative communication is the techniques of sharing information in a polite and non-threatening manner. When effectively implemented, cooperative communication typically inspires better performance and greatly enhances the workplace experience.
“Studies have shown that when cooperative communication is lacking, feelings of hostility, operational problems, and poor individual performance are among the unhappy results. This begs the question: Why isn’t cooperative communication practiced by all companies to avoid the problems created by its lack of implementation?”
